Well, it's Thanksgiving once again. As I get older it feels like the years just go faster and faster. When I was 16, I dreamed of how cool it would be to be 21 and live in a big city. Now that I'm nearly 30, I'm just begging for life to slow down.
I have a ton to be grateful for this year. I got married to the girl of my dreams. I'm healthy and lost 22 pounds. My mom moved into a new apartment. My best friends are getting married, engaged, and having kids. Everybody is maturing at their own pace and I guess that's what growing up is.
So this year take a second to be thankful for what you do have. Is it family to share a meal with? A loved one? A new friend? Hell, it could be as simple as being grateful that you have a cellphone to read this email. Wherever you are in this world, I hope you enjoy today and take a few minutes away from work and the stress of the everyday. Disconnect. Have fun. Be with someone special and if you can't be, pick up the phone and tell somebody you love them. I promise you I've never regretted that.
