| Rittenhouse was there because he was asked to help protect a local business. His first attacker, rapist Joseph Rosenbaum, chased him for quite some time and tried to take his rifle. Rosenbaum, earlier in the night, had been engaging in destructive, wild behavior. It culminated in his attacking Rittenhouse. His second attacker, Tony Huber, charged him and hit him in the head with a skateboard. Rittenhouse addressed that threat. His third attacker, Gaige Grosskreutz, approached Rittenhouse with a pistol.
