Hey, |
With the midterm elections just 90 days away, there's something happening beneath the surface that you need to know about: George Soros and his kids are going all in. |
Alex Soros, who now controls his father's vast $25 billion leftist political network, has already funneled a staggering $103 million into the midterms, on track to break his own father's election spending record. |
And it isn't just Alex. The entire Soros family is mobilizing: his sister Andrea, his brother Robert, Robert's wife Jamie, and even George's grandchildren have all started writing checks to radical Democrat candidates this cycle. |
Who are they backing? Abdul El-Sayed, the Michigan Senate candidate and now Democratic nominee, who calls Israel "just as evil as Hamas" and refuses to condemn Iran's slain supreme leader. Texas Senate candidate James Talarico, who claims that "God is non-binary" and gushes over his love for “transgender children.” Mississippi Senate candidate Scott Colom, who tells voters he's "running a grassroots campaign powered by Mississippians," all while quietly pocketing Soros money. |
On top of the candidate spending, Alex has pumped $1.7 million back into the Justice & Public Safety PAC — the same organization that bankrolled the progressive district attorneys who presided over historic homicide spikes in Philadelphia, skyrocketing crime in Los Angeles, and mob ransackings in Chicago. |
And let’s not forget who George Soros is. |
He has funneled more than $15 million into pro-Hamas organizations behind campus protests, funded groups supplying violent anti-ICE protesters with military gear, and spent more than $7 million pushing soft-on-crime bills that could free some of this country’s worst killers. |
50 of the 75 Soros-linked prosecutors identified since 2022 were removed or replaced by voters who'd had enough. Now the money is flowing again, 90 days before an election, to put the same kinds of people back in office. |
The same Soros network has also poured millions into newsrooms, “nonpartisan” journalism nonprofits, and content operations that shape coverage from national down to local news outlets, all under the banner of “protecting democracy.” |
It’s one of the most effective, least-discussed plays in the whole operation: fund the stories before they’re written, and the narrative spreads on its own. |
It’s very possible that in January 2027, a new, radical coalition gains ground in the Democratic Party to halt Trump’s agenda and then work tirelessly to overhaul the American system. |

|
This is exactly the kind of story we spend our days tracking at Upward News. It doesn't make the front page at The New York Times or NPR. It flies almost completely under the radar while the consequences land directly on the communities where Soros-funded candidates, prosecutors, and media outlets operate. |
Here's what we're fighting: Soros-funded media pushing spun narratives, Soros-backed Democrats running for office, and the radical socialist agenda both are built to advance. Soros money funds all three. |
We need to fight them. But we don’t have a billionaire patron like George Soros. All we've got is you. |
Look at New York City. Zohran Mamdani, a self-described socialist whose campaign was bankrolled by tens of millions in Soros-linked funding, is already making moves to seize property from landlords, hike taxes on hardworking families, gut the merit-based schools that reward achievement, and put government bureaucrats in charge of your grocery store. |
Businesses are fleeing, crime is climbing, and the taxpayers who fund the city are heading for the exits. That's not a failure to Soros and the socialists behind Mamdani. To them, it’s a huge success. New York is the proof of concept. If it works there, they'll bring the same government takeover to your town next. |

We're a small, independent team with no billionaire network bankrolling our reporting. That's exactly why we can call out Soros without asking permission, and exactly why we need readers like you to keep doing it. |
If we're going to counter a $25 billion political machine, outrage alone won't cut it. We need a real base of support. Becoming a member gets you full, unrestricted access to everything we publish — every investigation, every deep dive, every story we don't give away for free. |
We want to get the truth to you, your friends, and your family before Soros' narrative does. We're all young Americans in our twenties and fighting for the country we love, and we can only do it with you. |
Can we count on you? |
