Self-described socialists and their allies are now running for the U.S. Senate, backed by Bernie Sanders and online radicals like Hasan Piker. If the Left takes the House, they take the gavels, the subpoenas and the power of the purse. Every committee becomes a weapon, and every investigation becomes a show trial. If they take the Senate too, the radicals stop being the fringe of the Democratic Party. They become the new normal.
