Remember our Baby & Kids line? Here's the story..

Okay... It's Time for another chapter in SpiritHoods History.

Back in 2012, we launched a full line for the littlest wildlings: Baby Hoods, Animal Rompers, Cozy Baby Blankets, and Kids-Sized Hoods.

Each piece captured the sense of play, imagination, and transformation that still defines our brand to this day.

Also - It was just cuteness OVERLOAD!

Now for the drama...

These adorable creations sparked the launch of our Kids wholesale business. We landed in Nordstrom and a bunch of amazing kids boutiques across the country. It was exciting. It felt big.

BUT... then came the knock-offs.

Pottery Barn. Target. And so many others.
Our kids designs were everywhere—and not by our doing.

As a small, made-in-USA brand just starting out in fashion, we were kind of shocked. We had no idea we'd be getting copied that hard—and it was legal (well not everyone was 'legal' but that's another story).

With razor-thin margins and corporate giants flooding the market with cheaper imitations, we just couldn't compete.

So, after a few short years of magic and mayhem,
we made the tough call to sunset the line.

It was a bittersweet goodbye.

The first-ever hood you could actually draw on.

Kids would grab washable markers, doodle their wildest dreams onto the inner lining, and when it was time for a fresh start?
Just toss it in the wash—cold cycle—and boom: a blank canvas all over again.
