Hi,

The Feed has turned 12, and we are celebrating all week.

Today, we wanted to focus on high-performance supplements that are making a significant impact on performance.

We want The Feed to actually feel personal to you - better recommendations, better product suggestions based on how you actually train, so you can get the most out of your nutrition.

To do that, we need to know a bit more about you:

Unlock 25% off by doing one of two things.

Option 1: Connect your Strava. Takes about 10 seconds.

Option 2: Complete your Feed Athlete Profile. 90 seconds or less.

Then you will receive your personal 25% off code for almost everything at The Feed.

Here are 5 high-performance products we are fired up about right now - the ones our sponsored athletes use as a non-negotiable in their day-to-day nutrition.

Sodium Bicarbonate: Less burn, more gains.

The IOC officially recognizes sodium bicarbonate as one of the most effective legal performance aids. That's not marketing copy. That's the International Olympic Committee.

Here's what it actually feels like: the point where your legs would normally force you to back off? You keep going. The burn is still there, it's just manageable.

Feed athletes took five of six podium spots at the Elite HYROX race in Phoenix a few weeks ago using a sodium bicarbonate product. Our top ultra runners use Maurten’s Bicarb for 16+ hour ultramarathon efforts.

Maurten’s Bicarb has proven effective for both short, hard efforts and long endurance efforts.

FlyCarb is the newest option and about 1/3 the volume of Maurten, which means it's faster to get down. It has a mango-salty flavor. Maurten has a sweeter hydrogel base. Both work. Pick your preference.

Critical tips: take it 2 hours before your effort. Dosage is weight-dependent - check the product page. Start low and build up. And yes, it takes some effort to get down. You're not doing this for the taste. You're doing it to go faster.

Nomio: The broccoli sprout shot European pros are quietly using

When David Roche, coach and top ultra marathon athlete, first heard about Nomio, his reaction was "Broccoli sprouts? No, thank you."

Then, European pros started using it - and touted the benefits - this got David’s attention to try it himself.

His take after testing: it helped his body stay under threshold and clear lactate better than expected. He ran 10 x 1 mile with it on board, with 1 minute recovery, and felt his body settle in ways that surprised him.

The science is legitimately interesting. The active compound (sulforaphane from broccoli sprouts) activates the Nrf2 pathway, which protects mitochondrial function during heavy training load.

A 2023 study found it reduced lactate during submaximal efforts. A 2025 study found it enhanced mitochondrial respiration in skeletal muscle.

This isn't bicarb. You won't have a single EUREKA moment. What Nomio seems to do is help you absorb hard training better - less accumulated fatigue, better adaptation. David uses it 2x per week during heavy training blocks, not on the same day as bicarb.

Take it 3 hours before your workout. It takes that long for the ITCs to fully activate.

Korrect Fuel: Ketones that actually taste good

Ketones are one of the more fascinating fuel sources in sports science right now. Your body naturally produces them during fasting or intense training. They provide clean, efficient energy for both your brain and your muscles.

Some ketone products can be difficult to take because of their taste. Korrect solved that. It mixes into your bottle like a fruity hydration drink, which matters when you're trying to actually use something consistently.

Each sachet combines goBHB® (the ketone your liver naturally produces), Metabolyte™ (a green bean-derived compound that helps your body switch on fat burning during exercise), and Aquamin® Soluble (a natural mineral complex from red seaweed for electrolyte support).

You can use it in two ways.

On a hard training day, mix a sachet into my bottle at the start of the session for steady ketone-based energy. On a big work day when you need focus without a caffeine spike, sip it at your desk instead.

They also make Korrect Energy: a plant-based energy supplement that supports dopamine without the caffeine crash. Stack them together before a key workout if you need both the fuel and the mental edge.

SwissRX Nitric Oxide Pro

What makes Pro different from the original SwissRX Nitric Oxide is the patented Noxa24 blend with black garlic extract. The original boosts nitric oxide for 2-5 hours.

Pro maintains peak levels for a full 24 hours with just 2 capsules daily. Way more convenient than the 6-10 capsules some athletes were taking with the original.

Dr. Sprouse (EF Pro Cycling’s Head Medical Doctor) puts any patient who doesn't have low blood pressure on a daily Nitric Oxide Pro routine.

More circulating nitric oxide means better blood flow everywhere. Performance benefit and cardiac health in two capsules.
