Over time, the Times crushed its competitors and claimed to be our nation’s “paper of record,” publishing “all the news that’s fit to print.”
Americans knew, though, that the Times wasn’t speaking for them, their interests, their concerns and priorities.
Now The New York Sun has returned to reclaim its rightful place. It’s a paper for the American people that “shines for all” and we’re quickly regaining market share.
But over the years the market dominance of the Times has become well established.
